Overnight Care is when a trained Carer sleeps in your home overnight for a minimum of 8 hours to provide you with reassurance that there is someone available to you should you need assistance in the night.

If assistance is needed more than twice during the night, this will be considered as Waking Night Care and charged accordingly.

Domiciliary Care

Domiciliary care is a broad term used to describe care provision for clients in their homes. Clients may require additional support with regular home visits from a Carer, from 30 minutes through to several hours a day, with a wide range of everyday tasks, including:

Personal and continence care
Managing medication
Helping to mobilise
Household tasks and meal preparation
G.P or Dental Appointments
Shopping support & social activities
Clinical care, including catheter and stoma management and PEG feeding

Domiciliary care offers a valuable source of companionship by seeing a familiar face every day, or a couple of times a week, which brings comfort, a feeling of safety and friendship, as well as improving mental health.

Arrange an assessment

The initial assessment takes place over the phone. During this time, we will begin to develop an understanding of what type of care will best suit. We will take time to discuss the following areas where care and support can be offered.
We want to find out about the client’s:
Physical and practical needs
Medical conditions
Medication
Dietary requirements
Likes and dislikes
Daily routines
Local connections and friendship circles
Hobbies
Expectations

This assessment helps our Registered Manager to build a bespoke Care Plan offering reassurance to the clients’ family that their loved one is at the heart of our professional service.

A Personal meeting will be arranged with our Registered Manager to go through everything and finalise a detailed care plan outlining the client’s needs.

If you are worried about the type of care you or your loved one might need, or if you are not sure what help is on offer, then we can undertake a free, no obligation Care Assessment.
